Due to limited funding, the chart below indicates the sharp distinction between the yearly amount of material that was requested by chaplains versus the amount we were actually able to distribute. Since 1996, donations have drastically declined and therefore we have not been able to reorder many of our materials. However, due to a grant of free materials from the American Bible Society, we are now able to distribute New Testaments, Christian post cards, Christian leaflets, Christian bookmarks, and Christian tray cards to prison chaplains. Your tax deductible contribution would enable us to start buying Bibles and other Christian materials (videos, tracts, role model books) that are so desperately needed in correctional facilities throughout the United States. Without Christian literature, the chaplains are at a great disadvantage. Many of the inmates do not go to chapel services and the only way they find out about Jesus is through literature, audios, or videos.
The majority of newsletters are distributed by the chaplains, while some go directly to the inmates. Approximately 100 of the English newsletters are sent to previous and present contributors.
